HOW MATCHING WORKS

Availability is one detail. Fit is the bigger one.

We do not want to send someone simply because their calendar is free.

STEP 01

Understand the person

We learn about how you communicate, what support should feel like, your interests, your goals and what you do not want. You can say no to a worker, activity or suggestion without having to justify it.

STEP 02

Understand the worker

We look beyond a resume, paying attention to patience, initiative, steadiness, judgement, reliability, communication and support for independence.

STEP 03

Compare the fit

We consider personality, interests, practical availability, safety needs, communication style and what the participant says matters most.

STEP 04

Do not force chemistry

A good person can still be the wrong match. If it does not feel right, we would rather adjust than make everyone pretend it is working.

STEP 05

Keep learning

Matching does not end after day one. We pay attention to feedback, how support feels and whether the match still makes sense as things change.
